The 3 AOC’s of Champagne

To close Le Printemps des Champagnes, Champagne Olivier Horiot and a group of local champagne growers from the village Les Riceys have organised an original tasting of base wines from the different surrounding areas “contrées” of the “Ricetonne” terroritory.
It is another opportunity to discover, with a novel approach, the soils, the vines and their differences. The professional wine tasting event will cover 5 themes:
- The different zones of the largest Champagne terroir.
- The different types of vinification.
- The colouration of wine during vinification.
- The vintage Coteaux Champenois and the Rosé des Riceys.
- The Champagnes.
The event will be held on Thursday 21 April 2016 at Château St Louis, Mairie des Riceys, Les Riceys.
